I had been working at a gym for a few years and was making some pretty impressive gains. I had no aspirations to be a model or had ever wanted to step on stage up until that point, but one day when I was on my break reading a copy of Men’s Health, I saw a guy in an advert that looked uncannily like me – but just in better shape. It was though I was looking at myself from a few years from now, and it really motivated me to want to take my training further. I found out that this guy was called Paul Amos, and was sponsored by a UK supplement company called LA Muscle
It humbles me to know that I have so many fans out there that believe in me and utilize me as an inspiration for their fitness goals. It’s unbelievable, just to think only a few years ago, I myself was still struggling with my own fitness goals and didn’t know where to turn to. I still remember sitting in front of my computer for hours and hours trying to find the answers to a ripped body. Burned out and tired from so many fail attempts, it was that very night I decided to put all my much-collected research together and formulate a fitness program for myself focusing on the Afterburn Effect.
I got a call to do some modeling in Malibu at the beach Natalie Minh and Lauren Abraham taking sexy and fun fitness shots on the beach. I used to be very heavy or fat; I like to put that picture up so that others can see how far I‘ve come. I had to earn this, it was not gifted, so I want you to think really really hard about how hard I must’ve worked. I have so many ask me how long it took, this and that, my response is always; I have tried every single day since the I decided I wanted to new life. It was not easy, I did have a better plan than most so I happened faster for me, I was told early on to buy a heart rate monitor and train with it and follow the correct diet..
